In India, 75% marks generally converts to a 3.3 to 3.5 GPA on the standard US 4.0 scale (equivalent to a B+ or A- grade), qualifying as First Class with Distinction under Indian university grading systems.

For CBSE 10th board marks: (1) Divide your total percentage by 9.5 to find your 10-point CGPA (e.g. 85% ÷ 9.5 = 8.95 CGPA). (2) To convert 10-point CGPA to a 4.0 US GPA scale, multiply CGPA by 0.4 (e.g. 8.95 × 0.4 = 3.58 GPA).

To calculate your GPA: (1) Convert each letter grade to grade points (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0). (2) Multiply each course grade point by its credit hours to get quality points. (3) Sum all quality points. (4) Divide total quality points by total credit hours taken.

A score of 70% converts to approximately a 3.0 GPA (B grade average) on the standard US 4.0 scale, representing solid academic standing.

A 7.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale converts to a 3.0 GPA on the 4.0 US scale (using US conversion formula: 7.5 ÷ 10 × 4 = 3.0).

An 80% mark converts to approximately a 3.6 to 3.8 GPA (A- average) on the 4.0 US grading scale.
